ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ:ACIW) said Tuesday it’s collaborating with Big Tech firm Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) to help financial firms and technical services enable instant payments transactions faster through ACI’s real-time payments software.
Hosted in the Microsoft Azure platform, ACI’s (ACIW) Real-time Payments Cloud platform helps financial institutions gain direct access to the Clearing House’s Real-Time Payments Network and the Federal Reserve’s FedNow Service in the U.S.
ACI’s (ACIW) RTPC not only lowers the barriers to entry for financial firms, but it also enables increased transaction volumes as their business grows given the platform’s elasticity.
“With the ability to exchange data in an interoperable manner, we’re excited for the new benefits this will provide financial institutions and their customers—helping speed payments, improve fraud management, and unlock new areas of efficiency and ways of doing business,” said Bill Borden, corporate vice president of Worldwide Financial Services at Microsoft.
