Sigma Lithium (NASDAQ:SGML) -9.6% in early trading Thursday following a Reuters report that COO Brian Talbot left the company at the end of last month, in the company’s latest leadership shakeup.
Talbot told Reuters he presented his resignation to Sigma Lithium (SGML) in late July and his last day at the company was September 29; he did not give a reason for his exit.
Talbot, who became COO last year, was in charge of operations at the company’s flagship Grota do Cirilo mine in Brazil.
The exit from Sigma Lithium (SGML) comes amid a legal battle between the husband-and-wife pair who ran the company together until earlier this year.
