The pan-European Stoxx 600 edged 0.21% lower, with most sectors declining. Household goods stocks were about 2% lower, as insurance nudged 0.2% higher. The Stoxx gained 2.94% last week, its strongest week since March.
Luxury Swiss retailer Richemont fell 8.6% Monday morning after its sales figures showed a slowdown in U.S. demand, though a significant rebound in Asia.
