Roll up your sleeves because there’s work to be done at Forrester’s upcoming B2B Summit EMEA, taking place 7th-9th October in London. Last year’s delegates told us that they wanted to see much more practical, hands-on application of the research showcased; we listened, we heard, and we’ve taken action.
This year there are no fewer than six workshops, ranging from 1 – 3 hours in length, helping to you practice and apply core concepts.
Our Bold Starts sessions on Day 1 include the following 3 hr workshops:
- Unlock Your Business Potential with Forrester’s Revenue Growth Strategy Model. This workshop, led by Christina Schmidt, will start by introducing the model before showing how it can be applied to different business types – large or small, start-up or established, in any industry. MORE HERE
- AI Unleashed Hackathon: Creating Magic Without Mistakes And Mayhem. This will be a fast-paced, hands-on workshop with a competitive element! Ayse Yedekci-Schelhaas, Chantelle Fynn and I will be dividing you into teams and setting a scenario that you will use GenAI to solve together. Be sure to bring your laptop and follow the advance instructions on the tools you’ll need to download.
During the remaining two days, delegates can choose from the following, shorter workshops:
- Assess your Go-To-Market Strategy Maturity. Led by Chris Parr from Forrester’s consulting practice, you will learn the core elements of a robust GTM strategy, before exploring questions to help you discover your organization’s current state, and what to focus on to level up.
- Love the Problem Not The Solution: How to Use Mental Models. This workshop provides a deeper dive into Joana de Quintalla’s track session on Mental Models. Mental models are cognitive biases that can influence the way people look at a problem or proposed solution, and so can seriously hinder acceptance of a transformation initiative. Learn how to work with them in order to get a successful outcome.
- Event ROI is a Pipe Dream. Did you ever have a problem proving the ROI from your events and wonder if it was a pipe dream? Conrad Mills will help you work through these challenges, and share tools and templates to help improve goal setting and measurement practices for events to better showcase their value.
- AI Unleashed Mini Hackathon. This will be a “light” version of the Hackathon on the first day (see above), and this time we’ll be setting a slightly different challenge in order to accommodate the shorter time spot. Again, be sure to bring your competitive spirit (!) and your laptop, and follow the advance instructions on the tools you’ll need to download.
Please note that all workshops have limited capacity, so we encourage delegates to register for their preferred session as soon as registration opens in the event application. Please avoid registering if you are unsure whether you can make it, as it will prevent someone else from taking the space.
