Noodles (NASDAQ:NDLS) announced on Tuesday that it added two new franchise partners to its network as part of a strategic plan to expand in the southern part of the United States.
The restaurant operator signed an agreement to open four new restaurants in Northwest Arkansas, as well as an agreement to bring 20 Noodles & Company restaurants to the Dallas market.
“This is a huge step for our franchise efforts at Noodles & Company and we’re confident our new partners and their management teams will successfully lead and grow the brand in these markets,” stated Noodles franchise development executive John Ramsay.
The fast-casual Noodles brand continues to expand throughout the United States. In particular, the chain is focused on expanding its franchise footprint in south and southeast markets, including increasing its presence in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Texas, and Oklahoma.
Shares of Noodles (NDLS) fell 5.95% in afternoon trading on Tuesday.
